Discovery Gateway

This is not the place to go with three kids and by yourself, so I am SOOOOO glad that Mom and Dad were with me. It is an amazing museum with lots of hands on stuff for the kids. They loved it and we ended up spending something like 3hrs there.

Dallin loves these little cozy cars so he played mr. police man for the longest time.

Ms. Ella was all about the water, not so much how it worked, but how wet she could get.

MaCayela working the crane in the construction zone.

MaCayela trying out the rock climbing wall. She responed to me that her boots were not easy to climb in, next time she thinks she would do better in tennis shoes.

Ella shopping for produce in the market place. She loved this little area and spent most of her (and grandmas) time down in the little town area.

Papa and MaC made a tunnel path for the ball to follow from top to bottom

Dallin was so amazed with the air shoot that blew the paper up.

He loved building with the legos. (I wish we could get some this size, they are way easier to clean up and not like you can miss them and step on them.)

Grandma and Ella working on a gear spinners.

And this is what they looked like within 5 mins of getting into the car after the museum.

Grandma and Papa visit us

Grandma and Papa came to visit us at our new home in Utah. We had a fun filled week of tours of the Conference Center, Welfare Square, and The Humanitarian Center. We visited the Discovery Gateway museum and got to go out to lunch a lot. Grandma, the kids and I made strawberry freezer jam at the request of the kids, which grandma and papa brought good yummy strawberries all the way from Calif. We had lots of time just to play with grandma and get papa to do a few of the "honey dos" around the house that were on a list for Corey. It snowed the WHOLE time they were here, which is not grandmas favorite weather, but we still got to do lots and have fun.

This is a few of the pieces of play furniture that I had as a kid. My dad made them for my sister and me. I have been asking for them for a few years and when mom and dad came they surprised me by bring them with them.

Picking MaCayela up early from school one day to go to the museums

The bundles of clothes at the humanitarian center ready to be wrapped and shipped to where ever they are needed.

Dallin helping papa repair moms vacuum.

Dallin and his pleased smile after eating his chicken nuggets

The girls got to have a sleepover in grandma and papas room. They thought that was the best night of them all.

My little AzureMinis

The girls did a week long dance camp at the high school this past week and then performed Friday night at the Copper Canyon High dance team performance. The girls had a blast and were so funny about the whole camp.
